Marika van Vessem

Marika van Vessem was born in the Netherlands and is the retired owner of Gallery at Sandy Woods in Tiverton, RI. She previously had a career in International Sales Management for various companies. An avid traveller and photographer, her interests in other cultures encouraged her love of literature and her appreciation for nature in all its forms and exhibitions. Having lived in the South Coast for the last 16 years, the appreciation for the variety the landscape has to offer and the peaceful environments found has encouraged and expanded her photography interests and writing small bits of prose and poetry.
